People say that student life is the simplest and the easiest one but is that true?
In this student life only a child is faced with so many different things. Attraction towards the opposite sex being the most dangerous and important part of high school life.
It's always seen in teens that with their raging hormones they r easily falling in love with one person in a second and the other person in another second.
But is this something that parents should be concerned with ?
With all the new shows about the bad effects of love coming up, parents have started viewing this attraction as a bad thing. But it isn't really bad, not in most cases.
Sometimes even the kids know that they r just enjoying their life and its nothing serious but if u see your kid obsessing or crying over someone then its a warning sign.
Obsession is a good thing but its also bad. Obsessing about a human is wrong in so many different levels.
Attraction is one thing but when your child starts day dreaming and starts loosing focus in studies then its time u take the situation seriously. Other situations, where the kids know that they r having fun and have a casual attitude towards the whole idea of a relationship, this situation is okay , its nothing tricky and it will pass by in time, maybe there will be a few other girls or boys but then it will be over. However, when crying and loosing concentration, grades dropping down, these symptoms mean that the kid is more interested and concerned about his partner than he is about his family. She/ He might actually do something wrong because of love or infatuation with that person. When your kid starts behaving like that, it's best to read him or her some self help books, or surround him with so much work that he has no time to focus on stupid things.
Even though it is just a phase which might pass in the course of time, but sometimes they might lead to rash behavior like running away from home, suicide etc.
